2009

February 16, 2009 Presidents’ Day Tour

The 2009 touring season started early. Despite the cool weather, it was a sunny day.

March 22, 2009 Progressive Lunch tour

In this tour we managed to combine two of our favorite pastimes, Model Ts and food. The tour started with a visit to a museum in Shoreline and included several lunch stops (appetizers through desert) at several members’ homes.

April 16, 2009 Tiptoeing through the tulips tour

A cool and late spring meant that the Ts encountered more daffodils than tulips on their tour of the Skagit County flower fields.

June 20, 2009 Sunrise of Lynnwood Car Show

For the third year in a row, members gathered with their cars for a Fathers’ Day weekend car show and barbecue at the Sunrise of Lynnwood retirement home. The day included plenty of good food and free Model T rides for residents. Rides were popular and most of us took three or four carloads.

June 27, 2009 At the Museum of History and Industry

The museum’s annual picnic celebrated the arrival of summer and the centennial of the opening of Seattle’s first world’s fair, the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition of 1909. In addition to Model Ts and other old cars, it included old-fashioned games, food, music, and other activities.
